GABA (or gamma-aminobutyric acid) is a compound found in nearly all life on earth. Whilst GABA has many roles in the human body, in the brain it functions as a neurotransmitter. GABA modulates brain and central nervous system activity, causing feelings of relaxation and calmness, opening the door to a sense of ease in social situations and all the positive benefits these moments can bring.

GABA Spirits are designed to increase the effectiveness of the calming effects GABA provides. GABA Spirits do not raise your GABA levels, nor do they contain GABA itself as an active ingredient. We do not use GABA as an active ingredient because ingested GABA cannot pass from your bloodstream through what is known as the blood brain barrier (BBB), and then on into your brain. whats the cost?

Sentia Black. Really liked it- partial to a dark and stormy, had 2 x 35ml measures mixed- complex enough to kid on it's alcoholic(tick), nice afterglow! .. then came.. shallow interrupted sleep and very strangely super thirsty this morning.. I will try this again to make sure that the sleep disturbance was down to Sentia but I also think that when you mess with your brain - you drive it low- it bounces back high and vice versa.. so I think my brain bounced.. and it disturbed my sleep pattern. That was the cost.. ( no anxiety as with Alc though)

I love it

This is the only non alcoholic drink I really love and look forward to. I love the Black! With lime and soda- yum. Very sophisticated flavours. Not sweet at all unless you mix it. Bloody delicious. Going to try the espresso Sentia

Give this a miss!

Three of us tried this together with eager anticipation. 2 of us found it's taste extremely unpleasant, tried mixing it with cola and lemonade, tasted like peppery cough medicine! Third person neutral on taste, but didn't enjoy. We persevered and drank 100mls each though.
1 of us got a light mellow brief relaxed feeling, other 2 had no effects from consumption at all.
None of us are regular alcohol drinkers.
Overall a most disappointing experience and not one I would recommend to anyone afraid.

Sentia Black with Ginger Ale

I was after a whiskey-like equivalent; something not too voluminous to sip on before bed. Alas, that hunt goes on -- I found Sentia Black too unpalatable on its own. However, top up a double shot of it with ginger ale (or tonic, as others have suggested) and it's just the ticket, a very pleasurable drink.
I can't fully attest to its supposed other properties, but with this drink and the reduction in alcohol I've certainly slept more soundly.
Would I like it to be cheaper? Sure. But I'll almost certainly buy again... and keep an eye out for any special offers.

Made for tonic and lime

Admittedly the first time I tried Sentia Black I wasn't keen, it's quite savoury. But, then I tried it with tonic water , wedges and squeeze of lime and it was game changer. Different, but interesting 🤔. I had a couple and distinctly felt very relaxed for around 45 minutes . Definitely a bottle for the spirits cupboard and great alternative to traditional soft drinks.
