GABA (or gamma-aminobutyric acid) is a compound found in nearly all life on earth. Whilst GABA has many roles in the human body, in the brain it functions as a neurotransmitter. GABA modulates brain and central nervous system activity, causing feelings of relaxation and calmness, opening the door to a sense of ease in social situations and all the positive benefits these moments can bring.

GABA Spirits are designed to increase the effectiveness of the calming effects GABA provides. GABA Spirits do not raise your GABA levels, nor do they contain GABA itself as an active ingredient. We do not use GABA as an active ingredient because ingested GABA cannot pass from your bloodstream through what is known as the blood brain barrier (BBB), and then on into your brain. Pleasantly surprised..

Purchased this with some trepidation, with quite a few products claiming to something similar... This product 100% works, it really does create a soothing chill. I drank it with a tonic water, I'm sure you could mix with other mixers too - lemonade etc. I like strong tasting drinks, being a single malt lover, and these flavours did not disappoint, challenging enough to make the drink fun and worthwhile. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star review is the cost, they are damned expensive. I guess once they become a little more mainstream the price will come down a little? Anyway, fully recommend if you have the means to try them.

Taste is fine& I drank no alcohol that evening. However, I got a headache for 24 hours afterwards which I later found out was a known side effect of consuming GABA

Disappointed :o(

When I found out about Sentia I was incredibly excited…..a non alcoholic that gives you a buzz without the comedown…I’m having that.
I stopped drinking 6 months ago. As a menopausal lady I couldn’t cope with the way alcohol left me feeling.
I ordered the red and the black. Neither had any effect on me whatsoever…,,zilch….so guess it doesn’t work for everyone.
Someone mentioned in a previous review about Sentias lack of effectiveness when taking certain medications, perhaps Sentia should mention any contraindications with certain medications to avoid people getting their hopes up, and wasting their money.
Top marks for the product presentation but it’s very expensive.
By the way the black tastes vile, like a cough medicine you were forced to take as a kid.
